H.A.C.K Opening party

We had the pleasure to participate at the opening of the hungarian Budapest hackerspace named H.A.C.K and it was awesome!

The little romanian group consisting of the core of Harkopen team Craciun Constantin (thats me) Stoian Nicoleta (Nico) and Stoica Ionut (Gion) went bravely by train :P and were warmly welcomed by our hosts Stef, Themisnyo, Dnet and the rest of the guys at the currently rented place witch is really spacious and a shame that it might get demolished and soon they will have to search again for another one, but until then they made an awesome start.

Beside Romania there were guests from Slovakia, Czech Republic and Austria (metalab) all awesome people with a lot to share. The Club Mate was awesome (we have to import to Romania too) the food was good, the music was nerdy, the people were friendly, the hostel was awesome so the conclusion is that we absolutely love this guys and what they are doing there and hope soon to make a hackerspace in Bucharest and invite them too!

Their oficial website http://hspbp.org/tiki-index.php.

Disclaimer : these videos are filmed under Club Mate influence and under poor lighting so please appreciate the awesome ideas and people and the quality of the videos.

So here is Stef telling us how the whole thing started and why hackerspaces are so awesome :

Here is the talk of two Metalab members with a lot of hints and ideas about organizing and optimising a hackerspace based on their experience since now (we are absolutely stoked on "actocracy" it should be applied in everything - see what we mean by watching them).

And another little talk about the benefits of sharing from newbie talker, yours truly Craciun Constantin.
