Open Sprints
OpenSprints is a collaboratively and openly developed goldsprints solution primarily comprised of free software and source files. Most development work can be performed using free tools. The system consists of the following subsystems:
- A USB interface board and roller board sensors for monitoring roller rotations
- An Arduino is used for interfacing the PC to the sensors. The interface board is basically an Arduino-compatible shield.
- Up to four rollers can be monitored simultaneously in the default configuration.
- Two status LEDs on each roller sensor display "connected" status and blinks once each "revolution".
- A magnet mounted on the roller drum triggers the sensor each revolution.
- A PC providing the race display (optional)
- Multi-platform support (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows)
- Tournament interface with brackets, best times.
- (Coming soon) Some flashy LED progress meters.
